The Congressional Management Foundation (CMF) recently appointed Pixel Head to their Board of Governors. CMF is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to helping Congress become a more productive and effective institution through better management.
Members of CMF’s Board of Governors include senior corporate and association officers who understand the importance of good management practices in the business community and on Capitol Hill. They help direct CMF's activities and assist in financing the programs and services that CMF provides the Congress.
CMF's Board of Governors oversees four primary management services to House and Senate offices.
1. Management training programs for senior staff;
2. Confidential management consulting services to individual offices and committee upon request;
3. Publication of management books and reports; and
4. Information Technology management guidance and services for congressional offices.
Other Board members include representatives from American Plastics Council, American Water Works Company, The Boeing Company, ChevronTexaco, Eastman Kodak Company, EDS Corporation, IBM, International Council of Shopping Centers, McDonalds Corporation, National Food Processors Association, PricewaterhouseCoopers, United Airlines, Verizon Communications, and Wisconsin Electric Power Company.
